“I've bought the panasonic version of this phone also...”

written by jam. on 24/11/2002

Good Points
The colour screen (which is now the norm for me) The digital built in cam has to be one of the best selling points of the phone, also the java & poly ringtones (16 chord) The wap in colour built in phone book and mms, sms outer non colour screen.

Bad Points
The only bad things are price and the ariel other then that its fine.

General Comments
I've bought the panasonic version of this phone also and the're much the same, but I prefer the Sharp GX 10 for the inside looks and the buttons don't feel rubbery.
It's quite fast on moving from menu to menu with no ghosting that I can see, no firmware problems (yet) also no data cable out for this and I don't think there will be since it's not a known brand since it's sharp, but it does have a irda and works with my revo plus's phone man pro for sms sending and receving and phonebook
The screen is very nice to look at and isnt hard on the eyes, but the silver plastic on the phone is very easly scratched sigh...
I do love this phone but im waiting for a nice clam shell phone with colour screen built in cam and changable covers I hope I have not got to wait long. If any of you are wondering I pay'd £350 for it in UK on vodafone which I must say is a let down because even though I got a pay and go deal of sending free mms till Feb 2003 after that I will be paying p40 per msg and they placed loads of little vodafone logos all over it!!!
