“I looked about a bit, I really wanted to get a 3mega...”

Good Points
Small, high resolution, well built, looks good, good lens, comes with nice little case, full of features & settings and the price.... I only paid £139 (Was in sale, normally £189) from the Computer world.. Total Bargin!!

Bad Points
No optical view finder so screen has to be on all the time (wasting batt life). Only takes special batt so if it runs out your stuffed (unless you forked out £££ for a second batt). Batt had to be charged to download pics, does not seem to record sound in the movie mode, to many button presses to switch on timer and macro modes, May just be my one but sometimes does not flash when in auto (even though it is dark), pictures sometimes a bit dark, and sometimes get card error?

General Comments
I looked about a bit, I really wanted to get a 3mega pixel cam but they where all well over £300. So when I sore the Jenoptik JD 3.3x4ie Digital Camera for £189 I was very suspicious. I did some research but could not find any other shops selling it. Even Jenoptik's own web site did not have much. I bought this on the understanding that I could take it back (within 14 days) for ANY reason. I tested it quite a bit and could not find any BIG problem. Ok its not as good as one of the big boys (Sony, Nikon, Fuji) but for the price it was defiantly worth keeping. It comes with a two year manufactures guarantee, so I have nothing to loose. This cam is good and if you don't have lots of money then it's the one for you.
