“I always admired a pair of shoes in dune and my fiance...”

I always admired a pair of shoes in dune and my fiance bought them as a suprise for my birthday back in november they cost £95 and were beautiful animal print with a gold heel and sole and a zip fastening i think they were called jaguar.

I wore then for a night out and was so careful as it was the 1st time i wore them. The next day i noticed the metallic heel was wearing away in places as I very suprised as I knew myself I had been very cautious I was wearing them and as they were bought as a gift i was reluctant to complain too much as i didn't want to appear ungrateful. I wore them again a second time to my christmas dinner which was another sensible night out, low and below the shoes were soo much worse the next day, so i brought them back to the shop.

The assistant was immediately so defensive, I explained I wore the shoes twice and because of they were so expensive you would expect them to be good quality which they were clearly not, the assistant turned out to be the manager and she stated in was not a quality issue that i should have worn acrylic heels with care and walked on level surfaces. I was so angry as I knew this was an issue of quality, i explained that i have shoes from aldo that are worn regularly by both myself and sister and they look as good as the day bought the manager was clear to sacastically add that they were not aldo, aldo might be cheaper but there shoes are without doubt better quality. I told the manager that i couldnt wear the shoes again due to the state they were in, she said that was a matter of personal choice, she was totally unhelpful and when i left the shop i was so angry and frustrated that i actually cried (so embarrassing!!)

I swore i would never shop there again, I am getting married soon and have saw a pair of shoes in dune, i am determined not to pay full price for them i will wait to the sale or buy them of ebay as i have learnt from experience the shoes are over-priced and poor quality and reading the reviews i can't belive so many people have had similar experiences, i just wish i hadn't of let it go and persued dune for a refund.
