“The Siemens C55 is overall a nice little mobile phone...”

written by roadblock7 on 27/01/2004

Good Points
Compact Phone
Polyphonic Ringtones
Clear Amber Display
SMS Texting Excellent especially T9 adds to the dictionary.
Organiser built in.
Various Vibration Modes
Battery life is ok.

Bad Points
Memory is too small to allow extra ringtones even after deleting others.
Keypad is rather small and letters on keypad rather small and as the keys are silver and the backlite is amber you cannot always read the letters and numbers on the phones in bright sunlight or mixed lighting conditions but good in the dark.

General Comments
The Siemens C55 is overall a nice little mobile phone more suited to a lady or a man with small hands and fingers and good eye sight for the keys. would fit easily in and inner jacket pocket.

Ringtones are fairly loud and you should not miss this phone.

The phone cost me originally £139 back in october 02 when it was first released.

This phone is very reliable like the original C45 phone but really has been replaced by the likes of A55 with very similar feature for less money.
