“I have had my 2.0 litre Peugeot 206 CC for over a year...”

written by Kev W on 10/10/2007

Good Points
Looks fantastic, sporty feel and sticks to the road very well (outdrives the GTI). Very comfortable seats (driving). Generally well put together. Reasonable fuel economy. Roof comes up and down in a very reasonable time.

Bad Points
LEAKS after heavy rain. Carpet comes away all the time, very annoying. Not impressed with the brightness of the headlights (my 03 Clio BEAT THIS HANDS DOWN) Has no spare tyre, have to use those stupid tins. When I had a puncture on a nearly new tyre I had to pay extra because I had used the tins.

General Comments
I have had my 2.0 litre Peugeot 206 CC for over a year now. It is the 206CC SE, which has the bigger engine and the lovely black and red leather upholstery. I love driving this car. It feels like a proper sports car. It's not the fastest thing I have ever driven, but I don't care. It is nippy enough. Everyone mentions the fact the rear seats are so short of space. That is true but they are OK for a short journey. I have dropped my son off into town many times, which is a 15 minute journey, he is a long legged 6ft lad and says it is OK. I use the back seat for keeping various items on anyway. The boot space is halved when the roof is down and I was surprised how much it held. Gets referred to as a hairdressers car, but I don't care and I certainly am not any hairdresser.
