Good Points
First 6 months works fine... then disaster.
Bad Points
Error E45, lens locked up, sent it for repair and Kodak changed it for another camera that has other issues with it and sent it back with a higher amount of photos taken on it and broken. Then sent it back and they stated "you have too many pictures on it", then got another E45 and lens locked up again, the toggle button broke also... horrible camera.
General Comments
I bought my LS443 after saving for 6 months and it cost me over $300. I have a wife and 4 kids and wanted what I thought was a quality camera from a quality company. I thought by spending more money, I would be getting a better quality camera. Check out all the reviews... Boy was I wrong! I sent the camera back for repair error E45 Lens froze in open position, of course, they sent it back with a different broken Item on it, the selector wheel. I sent it back again, they supposedly fixed it, then a few months later another E45 with the lens again!! When I sent it back again they said I had taken 8000 shot in 14 months and refused to fix it. They had to have switched cameras on me! Gave me someone else's with a high picture count and broken to boot! All they did was give me the run around, offered me to buy another camera and that was supposed to be a deal? 6 months savings, a wife and 4 children with no memories other than a company that cheated a customer and will not stand behind their product... Shame on Kodak for poor customer service and not standing behind their product. Stay away from this company! I sent the CEO an email explaining the poor customer service and how I was treated and still got the shaft. Shame!!
