Good Points
Straight as a die shots and an absolutely beautiful feel when the ball hits the sweetspot
Bad Points
Not quite the distance of the bigger makes (Taylor Made/Callaway). But, I'd rather be 150yds on the fairway than 160yds in the trees.
General Comments
Bought these Mizuno MX-25 clubs on Saturday, after testing a range of clubs. After testing Callaway, Taylor Made, Nike and Cleveland I found that I couldn't hit there o-size irons anywhere near as well their tour irons.
This left me with a dilema, I want a fair amount of forgivness but only the tour irons felt good.
Cue Mizuno, the MX-25 was the next test, after about 15 balls, all going long and straight my mind was made up. They fell and swing like a tour iron, but with a good chunk of forgivness thrown in. Long irons have a slight cavity back, from 8 iron to PW they are more of a muscle back.
When I hit these on the money they feel better than any of the other clubs. When I'm slightly out, they go straight still.
Overall, I would recomend these clubs to anyone. I went with the S300 shafts (stiff) with a 1 degree upright lie angle.
