I think this camera is excellent value for money. I have taken so many superb pictures with it which are much better than those of friends who have more expensive cameras. Great for scenery, family pics, nature walks, in fact everything. It also takes great close ups of small things like insects on flowers using the programmable scene mode. I use rechargable batteries so their cost is minimal. I am very, very happy with this camera!
