General Comments La Redoute sent their courier to collect the rejects. He has a Nissan Micra. We waited a further week before DHL collected them. The 3 three replacements arrived, of which 1 was damaged. We decided to send the lot back. La Redoute sent their courier with his Nissan Micra to fetch them. Another fortnight waiting for DHL who failed to arrive on two appointed day when we had waited in. The carrier firm tried to deliver the bedbase without telling us they were coming. They left a card saying when they were coming again, without leaving a number to say whether it was convenient or not. The bedbase was poorly packed and had been damaged in transit. One drawer had cracked in manufacture and appeared to have been patched with filler. We asked for it to be taken back and La Redoute said it might be 21 days before it was collected. 21 days passed. Rang La Redoute who said that the collection had not been booked after all, they would book it but it would still be 21 days.
La Redoute www.redoute.co.uk - We bought 2 lots of furniture - 6 wooden 'Cubes' and a pine bedbase.
3 of the six cubes arrived either damaged because the packaging had failed to protect them or they were very poorly made. We ordered 3 more.
