Golden Coast Beach Hotel

On arrival at the Golden Coast Beach Hotel we were greeted by a bell boy, basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The pool was just beautiful with lots of available sun beds, poolside bar and pretty greenery and flowers. The pool then merges down some steps to a private beach. There was a charge for sun beds here however. A small village called Penera is just a 10 minute walk away or a quick bus ride. Taxis into Protaras cost 4 Cypriot pounds but regular buses cost 70 cents however far you travel. Ayia Napa is an extra 20-30 minute bus ride after Protaras. We found locals very friendly and all spoke good English.
