“WILL NOT EXCHANGE MIS-SOLD GOODS”

GAMERS! use CEX or GAME not Smyths - you have been warned!
Bought a game from Smyths Toys, I left it a while before opening. When I did get round to opening it, the staff member had put in the wrong game. I went back to the person who was stand-in manager at Milton Keynes who refused an exchange as I had left it after 28 days. I feel I have been mis-sold goods under the trade description act. Head Office customer services, looked into it but agreed that I was not entitled to an exchange. I am out of pocket £41.99 for the wrong game and cannot exchange it elsewhere because I have the wrong game in incorrect packaging due to staff member incompetence. STEER WELL CLEAR OF SMYTHS, I wish I had bought it from Argos, but wanted to give Smyths a shot. Hence Very Bad Review. Useless and have fraudulently attained £41.99 of my money. This will continue until I get it back.
