I wished to post a mothers day card at 1pm on Friday and was told the only way it could be guaranteed to arrive Saturday was to pay £12 for special delivery. However my mother would need to be in for it to be signed for. It couldnt be posted through the door even if that was what I requested. What a very poor service that only looks at what they can offer not the needs of their customers which I should imagine are dwindeling. I have purchased flowers which I could order as late as 5pm Saturday evening to be delivered on Sunday for a total cost of £19. Much better than her having to collect her own card on the Monday which would probably be a crumpled mess. Nothing Royal in this service and as a British citizen I am embarressed by that title for this poor performing company.
