“Four and a half years later and still looks like new”

Thanks to Newby house who sold us a Seattle sofa, chair and footstool that have been in use in our country kitchen for over four years and we still love them. Newby house did a great job of sourcing this solid furniture at a reasonable price.

The only maintenance in all that time has been hoovering the surface of the fabric. We did add some felt to the wooden feet to make them slide easier on our rough stone floor when hoovering.

The single chair is less popular than the two seater sofa, and we have been known to cram three people (and one collie) onto the sofa, but that is only when we want to get very cosy.

We have a few small scatter cushions on the sofa to make it even more comfortable and to allow those that need some back support a little extra umph.

Newby house were very kind in handling queries about the purchase and delivery and I felt I had to come back after yet another compliment on the furniture to give credit to the suppliers.
