Good Points
Easy to use
lasts long enough with larger batteries
built-in lens cap
menu system is easy to learn even for beginners

Bad Points
mic picks up a lot of big noise(especially tape mechanism noise)
batteries that came w the camera don't last long
not very good at low light filming

General Comments
Well I've been using this camera a bit less than 2 years and cant complain, it has seen some rough weather - cold, hot, rain etc but never failed..yet.
Video quality has been satisfactory in most cases, just stay away from dimly lit areas.
The only problem w my camera is that it's tape mechanism makes quite loud noise and built-in mic picks it up too well, but since the camera has a external mike slot it isn't a problem really.

For me the camera is good enough for home use, it's fast, does the job and doesn't cost very much :)
