“Tyco need to think about their consumer before making...”

Written on: 18/11/2006 by WarrenM99 (1 review written)

Good Points
It actually walks forwards, backwards and turns. I do actually like the way it walks, but it needs a three way switch so that other players can switch between modes.

Bad Points
It does not sneak up as stated, because it is too loud and does not have slow moving speed; it is fixed as one speed - go and stop is all you have to choose from. I think it is overpriced, and it does not shoot the recommended distance of 20ft, it's lucky to go 10ft. In fact, some only fall in front of the barrel - no continuity in distance, all fall short. In rapid fire mode the firing ceases to continue, and the barrel mechanism drops down without completing its task of shooting. Some ammunition pops out underneath the firing barrel.

General Comments
Tyco need to think about their consumer before making statements that are not true, as this item does not work as mentioned. I have tried more than one. Other people agree (friends and relatives). Tyco need to work on things as stated, not just the bottom line of profit making. In other words, if it says the N.S.E.C.T Robotic Attack Insect interactive robot shoots 20ft, then it should always be 20ft. I would recommend potential buyers ask for a shop demo before purchase. The first one I purchased did not shoot at all, and it had to be exchanged.
