“FALSE ADVERTISMENT”

Myself and my partner are first time buyers and there is a development close to us that we are very interested in. We have been to view several different house types they have available. They have recently released a new home with two plots with the prices of £152,995 and £153,995. We have viewed another home the same style (The plot we are interested in isn't built yet) and have fallen in love with this home. We have put an offer in which was declined so asked for some sort of deal where possible as we are first time buyers anything as small as a small contribution towards legal fees or stamp duty. Which was agreed however we have been told the house price is actually £155,995 and that the prices on the website are a typo. A typo that has clearly been pointed out to Persimmon Homes but they are still to correct it 24 hours later. I'd also like to add these homes are advertised as Detached homes when in a matter of fact are actually Semi Detached, Our vision of our first home has well and truly been crushed. Thanks very much... or not!
