“Home visit Nightmare”

Have spent the last week trying to book an engineer to have a look at my mother's bed and mattress, but they will not co-ordinate the visit with that of her carers who need to hoist her out of bed. Spoke to theĀ supervisor and he told us we have to get the district nurse to book it, when I said we had he then told us they had not done the correct procedure and gave me a phone no. for them to ring to do this. This was passed onto the district nurse and the no. did not have anything to do with booking a particular slot!! So they lie as well as not caring for their clients!!
To add to our distress the problem with the mattress is due to them not fixing it properly to the bed in the first place.
