“The fact that the DS has shown how Nintendo dominates...”

Good Points
Smaller than the original, slicker and the option to have it in Black should be put to good use.

Bad Points
The White version looks disgusting at best, but the main bad point about the DS Lite is...

General Comments
The fact that the DS has shown how Nintendo dominates the handheld gaming market says something about it, in that it's easy to play, and the touch screen minigames and the like are often fun, if not repetitive and a bit gimmicky. The Lite can surely only improve on its' success then, as the trend of releasing the same console in a smaller package has only seen success.
The Lite looks interesting enough, although the fact that when GBA cartridges are inserted they stick out. Aside from that though, there is a eason why the PSP sells, other than the fact that Sony fanboys want to play ports of their PS2 and PS3 games on the go.
Yes the only real downside to the DS lite and its' predecessor is the lack of game support for it. Although hundreds of DS games are released each month, it's the small minority that any gamers are going to buy. There is a difference it seems, between a simulation and a game, and simulations such as the 'Imagine' series seem to be a much more often ocurrence. So much so, that I have one of these, for the rare occasion when I want to buy a game for it, and a PSP for when I don't want to sift through the rubbish. And unfortunately, that seems to be the way the Wii is going too ... :(
