I have had a very, very hard high school life. I've had spots since I was about 12, in year 8. I am now in year 11, and I'm 16. I tried everything. All facial creams and scrubs you can think of. I even washed my face with nothing but water but nothing worked. I have been very self conscious throughout highschool, all the other girls had flawless skin, even my friends had the odd spot but they went all the time. I used to get so down on myself and sometimes even refused to go to school, pretending I was ill. Before Christmas last year, I went really down hill and my school attendance dropped so much. The authorities almost got involved. My mum thought this was enough, she took me to my gp and he gave me some tablets, Oxytetracycline, and some face cream for acne. However I had a bad reaction to the cream and I stopped using it. I'm supposed to take two tablets every morning and night, but I only take two at night ad I forget in the morning from rushing around for school. I have noticed

difference and so have my family and friends, from using oxytetracycline,

my spots didn't go but it stopped them from sticking out and being

inflamed. I went back to my gp and told him about my reaction to the face

cream and he gave me another, PanOxyl 2.5. Before bed I wash my

face with cold water, nothing else, and pay dry with a towel. I put a small

blob of this cream on my finger and dab the cream around my cheeks,

and I then rub it in where the acne is, for me this is my cheeks, side of

my eyes, and along my jawbone and chin. When I awake in the morning,

I put moisturiser on my face, not a lot. Then I wear my foundation and

mascara as usual as I'm still self conscious, but after a day of using this

cream, I have noticed a huge difference already! Yes, my face has gone

a tiny bit PALE red in some places, but it's barely noticeable. My skin feels softer even though I still have acne I trust this cream, it is working

wonders after a few days, I'll continue to use it, I have prom coming up

so I'm hoping to not have spots then. I'm a very pale person so spots are especially not a good look on me. I'd recommend PanOxyl 2.5 to all my friends and any other acne sufferers like me. Just stick at it, if your face tingles or itches slightly after using it, it means it's working! Don't give up on it(:
