General Comments
Purchased my Sony DRX-810UL in January. Early June loud noises when inserting a disc. Sony's [email protected] no help. Returned to Sony for repair. After 5 days in their possession, Sony returned the unit to me in damaged condition denying warranty. Damage caused by sharp metallic object blow. Returned in original ship carton. DVD Drive undamaged when shipped to Sony. Shipping carton & peanuts surrounding the unit were undamaged (verified by UPS). Last denial of warranty result of letter to Howard Stringer, CEO Sony Electronics, Inc.
