“Poor rectification of fault and dire customer service”

One hinge and gas strut failed (both bent) on the ottoman we purchased (together with mattress). They wouldn't believe the fault and they wouldn't drive the 3 miles to view it for themselves.
They arranged for a third party expert (weeks later) to view the problem - that would be a man with camera phone and a cardboard arrow.
We then received a call from customer services confirming the damage - shock horror they now believe it. They arranged for the delivery of replacement and hung up whilst I was mid sentence.
