Good Points
The battery life is amazing.
The picture quality is superb.
Lots of features that let you even change the picture after the shot has been taken.
Accepts upto 4gb cards
Great pics in low light.
Nice size, pretty and the start up/shut down times are milli-seconds, meaning you wont miss any important shots. Shutter speeds are brilliant in continous mode.

Bad Points
Bad is such a strong word when it comes to this camera. The manual display thingie isn't positioned at the best place as you end up smudging the lcd screen.

General Comments
The camera is expensive but definitely worth its weight in gold. I am in no way a professional, far from it, but if you see some of the shots I've managed to capture with this little gem you'd be amazed. As a sample have a look at the queens view in scotland. http://static.flickr.com/102/258493618_9b2df56d49_o.jpg

All my pics are taken using the Canon Ixus 800 IS. Enjoy!
