Good Points
Top loading design
Good spin speed
Can stop it to add "missed" items to the load
Bad Points
Can be bit noisy and prone to spin imbalance
General Comments
With a very awkward shaped kitchen a top loader seemed like the best option. There weren't too many options but the Zanussi seemed to be the best balance of quality and cost.
It makes excellent use of an otherwise "dead" corner in my kitchen allowing me to have a dishwasher where a front loader would want space to open the door. The original machine was dead on arrival but the replacement has run without problem for 5 years now. No complaints really - my washing always comes out clean, it spins nice and dry, has more programmes than I know what to do with and can even take a double quilt. The spin can imbalance quite often but it seems to correct it easily on its own.
It is worth noting that I have the TJS1397 which has a 1250 spin.
