Bad Points
Cheap looking toy-like irons!
General Comments
I saw the T&G straighteners on offer (half price! from £79 to £34.50) in a superstore, and I thought they could be something in the range of the GHD ones.
I couldn't find a single review of the product anywhere, so I am posting mine.
I took them out of the box and froze in a silent panic. Are they toys? Can a big name like Toni & Guy afford to produce a cheap product in order to sell it a maximum profit? The first thing you will notice is the terrible finishing of the product. The way a fine layer of silver paint comes off the product everywhere (before any use). The ceramic plates seem cheap also, and the temperature control mechanism is laughable. Surely you would not spend that money on something that looks so bad!
Unfortunately, I didn't try them, as I instantly knew I would not keep them and they went straight back to the store.
You may have noticed how they only use GHD irons in the T&G salons. Now you know why.
