Good Points
Large pitches
Lovely views
Site generally well maintained
Good play area
Lots of space for kids to play

Bad Points
The camp shop was very poorly stocked - incorporating take away / restaurant. The owners were smokers and smoking was permitted in this very small area, which made it rather unpleasant. Showers were small and cleanliness could have been better. The pool area had very restricted hours and loads of restrictions on what was permitted (no fun rings or inflatables, no jumping .... bit boring for the kids).
The camp club, "The 3 Ducks" was entirely without atmosphere and contrary to the previous reviewer we found it smoky and cliquey.

General Comments
Just got back from 10 days on the Byslades campsite in Paignton, Devon, and I have to qualify my comments by saying that we had dreadful weather, and the traffic in either direction outside the site, if you wanted to go anywhere, was terrible. Neither of these were the responsibility of the site, but it's affected the overall quality of our break nonetheless.

We also had problems with two sets of neighbours, neither of which were dealt with adequately by the staff.
