“I have had my Mapex M Series drum kit for a while, and...”

Good Points
Many toms - easy to improvise.
Sturdy.
Looks great.
Good stock heads (though I got new hydraulic heads).

Bad Points
Some extra ringing, and my high hat clamp doesn't work. Other than that, it's good.

General Comments
I have had my Mapex M Series drum kit for a while, and I like it. It's good! I've been playing for 6 years, and I still haven't put much of the set to its full potential. I never broke any heads on it and I play loud. It is sturdy and strong, and it's easy to assemble, so it wold be good for intermediate to professional players. But then again, it's the player who makes the musician good, not the instrument.
