Good Points
This is one below the top of the range, has excellent spec levels and is very good looking, alloy wheels, all electrics, air con, climate control, tyre sensors, etc

Bad Points
EVERYTHING will break! suspension/springs, interior/dashboard lights and the engine managment/ecu. This car is over-engineered and the electrics are a joke, and once the ecu has gone it is mega expensive to fix/replace. The car will just stop and, nice as the voice is telling you what is wrong and that you should go to your renault dealer, you just want to scream as it is one thing after another with this car. Even the back-light display on the dashboard costs £500 to fix !! Fuel economy to is just not good enough - 24 mpg around town and 27 mpg on a long run, performance is also very sluggish and the gearbox needs a 6th gear (like the deisels) why not on here? It's just not good enough and noware near it's competitors.

General Comments
I will never have another of these Renault Lagunas. I hunted round for one of these cars for ages, was really looking forward to getting one and was very very disappointed when I did. Sorry if this review seems very bad to Renault, but I have had nothing but trouble with the car since I bought it and am now faced with selling the thing for £3000 less than I paid for it 5 months ago just to get rid of it.
