I just picked up a Samick OM-7 at a local music store and I love it. I compared it to the Revival RG-26. They both have Grover tuners. The RG-26 has a traditional headstock and the OM-7 has a "floretine" or "mandolin type headstock" design. The OM-7 has a solid Ceder top versus the RG-26's solid Spruce top. The OM-7 has Rosewood back and sides versus the RG-26's Mahogagany back and sides. Both guitars had good setups and great projection for their smaller body styles. The Revival had a brighter more crisp tonal quality versus the Samick's warmer tone due to the Ceder top. I got a great deal on the Samick and ended up spending about half of what the RG-26's, which is why I decided on it. I just could'nt justify spending the extra bucks on an instrument that I only will only gig with 2 times this year (I usually play electric guitars, but that's changing!)
