I stumbled across Lets Torque BHP web site about 6 months ago when I was thinking about chipping my VW Golf.
The site is basically a list of every car you can think of and its performance figures. Cars are broken down in accordance to drive train, i.e front/rear/four wheel drive cars. The site then lists each cars 0-60 and 0-100 times along with the cars weight in kg, BHP Per Ton and standing 1/4 time and terminal speed.
There is also a performance calculator which enables you to calculate the 0-60 time of your car after a theoretical modification. You simply input the weight of your car and the new BHP figure and it gives you some idea of how the car will perform after the work is done.
There are also various links to forums and car chat groups along with information and calendars for various race meets ranging from touring cars to F-1.
I have looked at many car sites over the years and have often found it diffcult to find basic performance data on vehicles which can then be easily compared to other cars within the one site.
This site allows you to quickly and easily compare your current cars performance against others without having to navigate through, often torturous main dealer sites.
There's not a great deal more there but as a quick reference tool I haven't seen any better.
