“Blasted (Birmingham) is about two ex-lovers who meet...”

Good Points
A very emotionally driven performance. The actors do an amazing job conveying their characters, you really get a sense of who they are.
It is a very well written play on the whole.
The actors speak the stage direction along with their dialogue, I found this to be quite a nice touch.

Bad Points
Unfortunately the play does begin to fall to pieces toward the end and you begin to lose track of what is happening. It starts off very strong but begins to weaken at the end. Overall it is a good piece of work though.

General Comments
Blasted (Birmingham) is about two ex-lovers who meet up in a hotel room after not seeing each other for quite some time.

Blasted is an excellent reflection of what is wrong with humanity from a personal to world wide level.

There is a lot of strong language and violence involved, some nudity.

Performed by Graeae Theatre company who are disabled led, truly excellent actors.
