Parcel picked up on time

Tried to send a parcel to Domenica in time for Christmas, small treats for four children. The parcel got as far as Mexico, stayed there for 6 weeks and has only now been delivered this week. It wouldn't have got there at all if I hadn't chased it up with Interparcel and UPS.
General Comments
The low prices are seductive but be beware.
There seems to be no accountability at Interparcel to put problems right. I was told that someone was looking into the lost parcel problem, but they never contacted me. It was only after some difficulty that I got through to the right person at UPS (the carrier) and they in fact resolved it. I will pursue a refund and compensation from Interparcel they haven't offered any yet.
Next time I will use the big name carriers directly, at least they are capable of sorting out problems, Interparcel are obviously not!
