General Comments
We had a great holiday at the Belvedere.

We went in July 2007 as part of our 25th Wedding Anniversary accompanied by our 13-year-old daughter. We had read the reviews about this hotel on this and other sites and, on the whole, thought it a good choice. We were not disappointed at all. We already knew about their use of plastic cups and realised this was an important Health and Safety element due to bar's poolside location.



The food was excellent in our opinion.



The free bus service into Palma Nova and Marineland was punctual and the drivers, very friendly. For those wishing to travel further afield to, say, Palma City or Magaluf, then there is a bus stop right outside the complex.



San Augustin is a fairly quiet town, which suited us, but won't suit everyone. For example if you want to go to Cala Mayor beach then this is a good walk from the uphill hotel, down through the town, but is well worth it.



We were so pleased with our stay at the Belvedere Hotel, that within three weeks of returning we booked to go again in May 2008.



On the whole we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes, the entertainment is geared very much to small children, but then we liked spending our evenings sat outside under the stars. We met and got to know a very nice family and are now in regular touch with them.
