“The Brother MFC-3320CN Fax machine is nothing short of...”

Good Points
A nice looking machine with a reasonable degree of functionality for the money.

Bad Points
Everything else.

General Comments
The Brother MFC-3320CN Fax machine is nothing short of dreadful. Designed to make you purchase ink cartridges on a desperately regular basis, whether you use them or not. I fed this hungry beast (which simply receives a couple of faxes a month and is not used as a colour printer) with more colour cartridges than I have for BOTH of our colour inkjet printers (Epson, thank goodness) which are in constant use. What am I rewarded with? The dreaded error code 41 - a fatal error requiring costly replacement of the print head. Do a search engine search for this and you'll run into forums full of frustrated Brother purchasers. It seems this is an endemic problem with almost the entire Brother range.

This is a truly terrible machine. I have literally just taken a sledgehammer to mine in the garage in sheer frustration, and I have bought a nice simple black and white Canon bubblejet instead.
