“If you want to try trumpet get one of these Tristar...”

Written on: 29/05/2006 by radiomoscow (1 review written)

Good Points
Plays well. I was playing simple scales and songs within 2 weeks. Fast smooth valves
Plays in tune (tested with an digital tuner)
Good mouthpiece and is as good as any Bach 7c costing $50.
Super cheap

Bad Points
Thread for valves caps is not the best. Easy to cross thread them spit valve slightly missaligned but still sealed perfectly
3rd slide is stiff. Finish is slightly coming off around valve caps. Cheap case

General Comments
If you want to try trumpet get one of these Tristar Standard Trumpet, if you stick at it, spend $500 and up on a pro horn later.

This trumpet is a lot of fun. Saving up now for my next trumpet
