Good Points
This is 50 lbs of steel that covers any potential weakness a thief might take advantage of. Apparently there has never been a bike stolen from one. It is an anchor system so you won't be able to carry it around, but most thefts are from the residence so that's where it counts. Been using it almost two years now and had one failed theft attempt so I know it works. Great customer service
Bad Points
I ride sport bike so no prob, but it probably wont work on cruisers with the solid style wheel. Seems expensive at first, but only at first.
General Comments
I decided to spend a little extra on security after having two bikes stolen from my underground in 14 months. I went with the Bike Brace after seeing a review in one of the Magazines and then reading good reviews on riders forums through a bit of searching ie. CBR600rr.com, BC sportbikes.com, R1-forum.com. I'm very happy with it. It was easier than I thought to install (with the right drill) and I don't worry at night anymore. I usually try to to take the time to say good things, because I know (and a couple friends using it too now) and I hate bike thieves. The cost of the unit is less than my deductible, and I know I'm doing my part to keep insurance rates down
