Max Factor Masterpiece is an okay mascara, but I can't...”

written by GlamourPuss on 13/06/2006

Good Points
It does add volume and reach the little lashes without painting your cheeks black at the same time!

Bad Points
It doesn't really add length, and it is pretty hard to remove. I don't like to tug too hard on the skin around my eyes, but there is always some residue I can't shift!

General Comments
Max Factor Masterpiece is an okay mascara, but I can't say it lives up to the Geisha-Girl images in the TV ad!

It is easy enough to apply, although I don't notice the wand being much easier to use than other brands; and it does make my lashes thicker. However, when I wear glasses, I also want my lashes to be longer, and I can't say Masterpiece really achieves that.

As I said above, it lasts well but it is quite tough to remove.

I would buy it again if it was on offer, but otherwise I think Rimmel Volume Flash mascara does a similar job for less money.
