Good Points
I've had my Freelander a year. I bought it from a friend who was buying a new discovery and I have had absolutely no problems with it so far. My friend bought it new and it has a full service history. From the outside I think it looks really good. It's black and despite being an old car now runs very well and is not noisy well no more so than any other diesel car anyway. There is lots of room in the back and even though its only a 2 door is very easy to get the kids and the car seats and everything that goes along with them in and out, the boot space is adequate for what I need and if I do need to put anything big in there the seats easily fold down.
Bad Points
The one and only problem I have had so far is that the wire that works the drivers window has snapped and needs to be replaced but I know this when I bought it but just as yet have not had chance to have it fixed. The interior isn't the nicest I have ever seen but its OK and I'm sure the newer models are much improved in this area.

I am very happy with my Freelander and I would recommend it.
