i commute 70 miles a day which is a mix of b roads and motorways and this bike has been faultless, tyres seem to go rather quickly if you flog her, though fuel ecomony seems to be very good. the bike has a lot of power compared to 600/650 bandits and sv650's. it can go like a bat out of hell if you want it to, or you can easily cruise 60-100mph with a high level of comfort. brakes are exellent although they do suffer more than others in the wet. suspension is cheap and rather nasty.

i recently put a 44litre top box on the bike and sadly it has ruined the handling, if i wasnt a experienced rider i would certainly come off by now going round a tight corner. it wobbles like crazy 95mph+ due to the topbox and the front end flicks all over the road when taking corners.

a aftermarket can is a must, i have a fuel can on mine and it has not only changed the sound of the bike (sounds like a gp bike lol) but seems to have a bit more grunt midrange. i plan to get a k&n air filter next to compliment this.

as with all suzukis the engine is awsome, powerful and so far reliable. though typical suzuki finish, show a photo of salt and it rusts!!

my bike is a 1998 and i purchased it for onlt £1005 with 10k miles on the clock, you really cant get better than that!!!
