Stayed at home to await delivery of parcel. Nobody called but email received saying called, no reply so parcel left in 'safe place' - this was received within 20 minutes of the alleged delivery. No 'card/note' left. Outside of house inspected and no trace. Message sent to iparcelpost and to be fair a reply was received within hours - driver states 'left by the bins' ... it wasn't!!! More messages sent but no reply. The next day I was composing a 'complaint' when doorbell rang. A man had called with the parcel. He told me he lived over a mile away at a completely different address (& obviously a different post code - Satnav issue?). He informed me he was out the previous day when the parcel was left with a neighbour. So, the parcel was delivered to the wrong address (different street name a mile away), not left 'by the bins' since it was left at a neighbours house adjacent to the wrong address. Fortunately both the other parties were honest (occupier of wrong address & his neighbour) otherwise I would have been left with nothing, but a hole in my bank account for undelivered goods. On the positive side, the tracking system seemed fine, but the delivery to a completely incorrect address was wholly unacceptable!
