“Worst Experience Ever”

I bought my sofa form SofasWorld who are part of world stores it was a nightmare getting it delivered took 3 appointments until I finally got it, they also had the wrong address for me which I told them to change several times by email.

Once I got the sofa delivered it was actually a beautiful sofa or so I thought but oh no it ripped after 5 months of having it and on having an inspection done it was decided the fault was with the sofa and not be and that the part would be replaced I waited over 2 weeks for the part with no communication and when I chased again for about the 5 time I was told I can't just have the part I would need a new sofa so I said ok and it would be 3-4 weeks for delivery I waited the 4 weeks chased again several times only to be told the sofa I had has be discontinued and that they I could choose a new sofa (hell no) or get a full refund which I agreed to.

Bearing in mind I've waited over 6 weeks for my part or the sofa it's now a few weeks before Christmas and I can't even order a new one to be here in time as it's to late and I'm waiting for my refund. Never once did this company keep me updated on what was going on I had to send at least 5-7 emails and call 2-3 times before I was given an answer

The first part of the refund went through fine I received the cost of the sofa and the cost of the insurance I paid within 3-5 days now here where the further problem is I was still waiting for £24.99 for the cost of delivery I paid I know it's not a lot but its the principle they said I would get a full refund I chased I don't know how many times and finally got it over 3 weeks after the initial refund which was disgusting.

never once did this company update me I had to chase and threaten to report them to the consumer ombudsman (which I'm still thinking of doing) before I go a response. I have never in my life had such bad service from a company and I would never ever use them again if you
