“Bullies!”

Have had nothing but problems and stress with them. The flat was available a good 2 weeks after we were told it would be, we received 1 set of keys (we are 2 people - which has never happened, I've always been given on set of keys for each tenants with other agencies), not given a mail box key so took a couple of weeks for Connells to have a new mail box lock changed (and for us to get into our mailbox to retrieve the 2nd set of keys we had to order by post), took them about 4 months to complete a repair we reported, told us 2 weeks in advance that the rent was going up, they charge £114 renewal of contract fee (EVERY 6 months), they threaten you with eviction (section 21) if you don't pay the renewal of contract fee or sign a new contract (even though by law you go from assured shorthold tenancy to rolling contract), tells us we have to pay before the deadline because the agent is on holiday that week (bullying), found out 6 months later that after all we did not have a parking space in the parking (told us we did a few times at the beginning), charge you £150 per tenants for the referencing check, whom they screw up and input the wrong information in, makes you pay another referencing check for the 2nd renewal of tenancy if you want to pay monthly (and not 6months upfront) because the first one I started a new job (which I am still doing 1 year later) ... They bully you, as they know that you can't do anything as they will just evict you because they can.
