“Roses are dead”

As a kid I loved roses, it was what made Christmas that and a tin of quality street. Got a tub as a gift this year, opened them, the disappointment at the tampon looking packaging and the generic looking lumps of chocolate, if it is even chocolate, it is too sickly sweet and the aftertaste is vile. We've just thrown the whole lot in the rubbish. No way could we eat more than two. And who's bright idea was it to put the chocolate index under the tub???? If I ever eat another roses chocolate again it'll be too soon. So sad to see this happen, RIP roses. I'm off to brush my teeth to get rid of the awful aftertaste.
