“Rip off”

In the store the salesman tried to tell us the model of freezer we wanted wasn't available, when I could see it quite clearly on his screen! He was obviously trying to upsell to us, as the model we wanted was at a really good price. Eventually we managed to purchase the right freezer. We paid an additional £19.99 for a known delivery slot. The driver rang & said he would be there in 15-30 minutes. 40 minutes later I rang & was told it would be another 20 minutes. Now in my book that does not fulfill the notion of a known delivery slot! Added to that, on delivery they literally dumped & ran. According to the paperwork they were supposed to unpack the item (& take away the packaging) so you could check for damage. Unbelievably poor service. I will not be buying from Curry's again no matter how good the price
