Good Points
An amazing venue, set in fantastic grounds with breathtaking views. The setting for the photography couldn't be much better, and the bedrooms in the house are spectacular.
Bad Points
The wedding planners didn't always seem to be completely truthful and were more interested in maximising the extras which at time are horrendously expensive.
Some promises were not fully kept with regards to food either, and the price of drinks is on a par with a central London club. Over £6 for spirit and mixer. So take note on what they tell you about the drink prices beforehand!
The 'house dj' is abysmal... didn't return calls, didn't take requests, didn't interact with dance floor - rubbish.
General Comments
Parklands Quendon Hall, Quendon, Essex Review - The wedding itself was planned fantastically, and everyone was welcomed in and everything went without a hitch.
The food for the meal was very nice, however the vegetables were very undercooked (almost raw) and the bride's starter was still frozen in the middle.
The house DJ is terrible. I could have done a better job with an iPod!
