Good Points
A very useful scroll wheel, which I feel is much more useful than a joystick on most HP PDA's, which are, most of the time, too small for peoples fingers. It also has a very bright high definition screen.
Bad Points
A lot of PDA's these days have a WiFi (wireless) connection to enable connection to a wireless router - whether it be at home or in the office, but the N30 doesn't. It does have the ability to have one connected through the SD/MMC slot though. A plus side to this is that you can pay a Mediocre price for a standard speed (about 54kbps), or pay extra on top for a faster connection speed (128kbps).
General Comments
The Acer N30 PDA handheld with Windows Mobile 2003 running on it is very useful to pretty much anybody. I had a Sony Clie about a year ago, with a Palm operating system, and I felt that my uses on it were restricted, but with the Windows operating system you're free to do a lot more stuff, and with a much wider range of applications available in the palm of your hand.
Overall, the Acer N30 PDA is a very slim and good looking handheld, and for its price it gives all the other PDA's on the market a run for their money.
