“Love Lessons is a great read, I'd say girls aged 10-14...”

written by meggirlr on 24/05/2009

Good Points
It's realistic but exciting too, and it's not all lovey-duvey and they have to learn to except the situation.

Bad Points
There aren't really any bad points, except for maybe that it doesn't end on a very good note when it doesn't say what eventually happens to Prue at Kingtown High.

General Comments
Love Lessons is a great read, I'd say girls aged 10-14 would enjoy it. It's about a teenager who is sent to school for the first time and falls in love with her young art teacher, Rax. She starts babysitting and her feelings just burst out of her in the ten minutes they have together while he drives her home. There's the usual stuff going on at school, but the least expected person somehow manages to get Prue and Rax into serious trouble and Prue has to do what is best for Rax.
