“Parga is a fantastic resort and I would recommend...”

written by Jeressica on 18/09/2006

Good Points
The Eleni and Maria apartments are a good size, clean with a fantastic view out to sea. There are two swimming pools which are also maintained to a high standard. The owners and staff arre very friendly and are always happy to help.

Bad Points
Rooms don't have air conditioning, only a fan, so it can get extremely hot. There is a snack bar, but it is hardly ever open, although we were told if we need anything we should ask one of the owners and they would open it - fair enough but this isn't always practical. Also, since these apartments are quite away out, there is no supermarket close by or a taverna or cafe. Any food you require therefore has to be purchased in the town. Because of the steep incline, it is advisable to get a taxi home in the evening (it's only about four euro).

General Comments
Parga is a fantastic resort and I would recommend Eleni and Maria studios if you don't mind walking - but the views are definately worth it!

The food in Parga is incredible, I would highly reccommend Rudis (on the harbour), Nafsika (left hand side of harbour) and Bacchas (right hand side of harbour). I would not recommend Castello (over-rated and tasteless) or Sakis.

The Green Bakery (parga town) does the most fantastic breakfast in the whole of Parga. Highly recommended.
