Good Points
Some very stylish clothing at great prices. Telephone customer service team is fabulous! They are polite, helpful, welcoming and very friendly. La Redoute does not charge you for items until they ship (see bad points below). There are usually sales, coupons and/or shipping deals available all the time. Satisfaction is guaranteed and items may be returned for any reason. Usually a great value for the $$.

Bad Points
Very limited quantities; sometimes takes 6 - 7 weeks to receive an item because they don't have enough stock to fill orders. Website needs improvement with regard to the item pictures themselves (see comments below).

General Comments
I have been a LaRedoute customer since May '05 and shop with them online. I have placed orders for over 25 items. I have never been disappointed with the quality of any item purchased. I have always received very pleasant customer service any time I call or inquire about anything via telephone. Unfortunately, the trick is to actually get the items into my home.



Of the total items I've ordered so far, 15 - 20 have been placed on backorder for at least 2 weeks and some for longer than 6 weeks. This problem is becoming worse and La Redoute's decision to 'pre-sell' their Fall '05 collection has simply aggravated my frustration at not being able to receive the items I ordered. By the time the items arrive, the season is half over and I find myself still awaiting items that I had counted on as centerpieces in my wardrobe.



Another problem with La Redoute is the usefulness (or lack thereof) of the garment photos on their website. While it's pleasant to see a full outfit put together, as an online customer I want to see full views of the specific piece in which I'm interested. I want an unobstructed view of the front and back. You don't get this at the Le Redoute website.
