Well, where to start. I bought the Jinlun 125 - 11 125 because i thought having something to ride whilst doing my DAS would be better practice than none at all. How wrong was I.
Firstly the bike arrived minus a bulb in the rear left hand indicator! Not a blown bulb, it just wasn't there at all! Okay i thought easy oversight 50p sorted that out.
Went to the petrol station and filled up only to find the fuel guage was stuck on the 2 bottom lights. Got this fixed by local garage then all was fine for about a week. The front brake master cylinder started leaking from a perished seal. This wasn't going well.
I knew i should have bought something decent from a proper manufacturer!
As for the thing looking like a Harley, no it doesn't. I can only assume that the people who say this havn't seen a Harley before! For a start theres a big empty space where a big v-twin would live, the tyres are too skinny, it sounds like a lawn mower and goes like one too. I'm 6'4" and look like a gorilla riding a kids bike and it just doesn't, full stop.
A CG125 is built like a tank compared to this thing and is much easier to live with, i had my choice and i picked the wrong bike but 1 month down the line i passed my test anyway so sold it for £900!
Lesson learned.
