“Who shall guard the guards themselves? ”

Written on: 03/08/2005 by The Hooded Claw (36 reviews written)

Good Points
Provides an interesting outlook on what the people who are legally empowered to take our money using jail as a threat should we refuse to do so (i.e. the licence fee) do with that money

Bad Points
As its a blog site you must check out what it says for yourself. It might be wrong.

General Comments
Who shall guard the guards themselves?

Found this site Biased BBC during the Gulf war when I was dissapointed by the horrendously partisan ultra-liberal studio coverage of the issues at the BBC. The on the ground reporters were very good but apart from Newsnight the BBC was awful.

I went to the font of all knowledge and typed in 'bbc bias' and up came this. Just checked it recently for the first time in 2 years and it is still running.

It has some very interesting articles on the various issues that relate to the presentation of news by the BBC, it provides insights into the BBC's presentation of events that would not be apparant if you just saw/heard the BBC output. Even more importantly it raises awareness of the political/intellectual assumptions that underpin the world view that the people who have come to run the BBC want you to believe exists.

Call them what you like ultra liberal, social marxists or liberal marxist - they will probably hate it but make your own mind up.
